Ghost of Past
Ghost Express was founded June 10th, 2020 by Ghøst & OkieRebel with the intentions of creating a virtual trucking company for anyone and everyone. Keeping a family feel, not so much family friendly, and a group to drive daily with, we admittedly went far. We met many milestones, even trying to go for validation on TruckersMP for an American Truck Simulator only company.
Back in 2020, Ghost Express was a mile running company that had done both real and race miles on Trucksbook. We had hit many achievement in those days. From reaching over 60 members, top 10 in Real Miles, and much more.
Sadly, all things come to an end. The original Ghost Express had shut her doors January 11th, 2021, on her 7 month anniversary.
Ghost of Present
In late May, 2023, Ghost Express had made its official return to the American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 communities. With a wonderful backing of a large community in the rebrand, the switch from what was once Freightway to Ghost Express was smooth.
In the modern day Ghost Express, we hope to provide all we can for our members and guests to help create that once family, not so family friend feel Ghost Express once had, but continue to reach bigger goals than what we had or achieved prior in 2020.
Between continuous growing in recruiting, pushing for events, and more to keep our community happy, we will forever keep trying to provide for our community. As we promise not to fade to the shadows with the original company.
Ghost of Future
Always aiming forwards and looking ahead to the future, Ghost Express' visions and ambitions are to offering all that we can for our drivers. Guaranteeing both weekly and monthly events varying from the what the community offers to our own special and private events, driver engagement and interactivity will always remain our priority, while never abdicating or sacrificing the family feel we aim to provide to all our members. Our goals for the more immediate future include reaching the highly ambitioned and desirable Verification status on the TruckersMP platform, while continuously expanding our community to all looking for a place they went to belong to.
